Maths Olympiad Success!
This year, a group of our Year 5 and 6 students have participated in weekly maths sessions with Ms Nichols, focused on developing their problem-solving skills through a series of challenging mathematical tasks.
Their efforts culminated in four official Maths Olympiads, each consisting of five exceptionally difficult questions designed to extend students’ reasoning and persistence. These problems required creative thinking, patience, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Every student who took part should be extremely proud of their commitment and achievement throughout the program.
Special congratulations go to Orlando Massey, who received the medal for the highest overall score from our school, and to Ivy Angelia-Taylor, who was awarded the certificate for Outstanding Effort and Improvement in Mathematical Problem Solving.
