Dear Families,
I hope you and your families are doing well. I would like to thank you all for your support and I’m sure you’ll all join me in thanking the staff at St Thomas More’s Catholic School for all their effort over the past few weeks in this time.
We are now in a transition phase to a Learning @ Home platform. I ask you to please be patient as staff are still preparing for Learning @ Home, whilst still conducting classes for students. Even today, with greatly reduced numbers all teaching staff are still running their regular timetable as stricter social-distancing measures mean less students are able to be in each classroom. Please be mindful, our teachers at the moment are teaching students so will not be able to immediately reply to requests during the school day. Also, please be understanding that our teachers need a break in the evenings; they will respond to you when they can.
This week you should receive your school fees. I understand that for some families this is a really bad time, however, I wish to assure you that if you are having financial difficulties please contact our office, we are here to support you.
At the moment I will continue to keep you updated with changes as they occur through Schoolzine and Facebook.
Have a great week and keep safe.
God Bless,
Shayne Kidd
Harmony Day "Everybody Belongs"
As a whole school and our families we make up a community of diverse people. We are going to link ourselves together using this string and beads as symbols for our families. Woven together into a Harmony Weave which represents our tolerant, accepting, culturally diverse community.
Congratulations Isaac Pietsch you have achieved 25 stickers for your sticker booklet.
These stickers are given out to students displaying positive and respectful behaviour in the playground.
They are a great role model for others. Well done!
Dear Friends of City Mission,
